Holiday Parties

All homerooms had their holiday parties on Friday, Dec. 21, 2007. Here are some photos from the parties. We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season with their families.

Holiday Sports Spectacular

The PTO with the help of Mrs. Black, our physical education teacher, hosted a Holiday Sports Spectacular for the students. During the last week of school before the holiday break, all classes got to enjoy holiday music while having snowball fights using yarn balls, playing hockey, cross country skiing and pretending scooters were toboggans. Be sure to check out our photo link for all of the photos. Come back later for more video and photos of the Holiday Classroom Parties, too.

Mrs. Black and her pie

Yes, I forgot to post this last week. Rather, a few weeks ago...KG student, Rachyl, was awarded the honor of creaming Mrs. Black a pie in the face. She missed and got some help from Mrs. Laise. What fun we had that day!

fundraiser awards assembly

The PTO Fall Fundraiser Awards Assembly was held Friday, November 30th. The top seller in each grade had the chance to cream a staff member in the face with a pie. Below are photos and a video of our principal, Mr. Tester, getting creamed!

Wednesday, November 14th was Crazy Hair Day at Cridersville. Many teachers and students did crazy things to their hair before coming to school. Some of the teachers got a little crazy themselves after school and someone was there to catch it all.

All of the 4th grade classes took a field trip to the Neil Armstrong Museum. They spent the day learning about space and the history of man made trips to the moon. Mrs. Katterheinrich's class was the last of the three classes to go to the museum. You will see what Mrs. K would look like as an astronaut, her class and some of her students reaching for the stars.

I had to get some video of this sign on the corner of Dearbaugh and Auglaize in Wapak. Again, thank you voters!!

Thank You!

Thank you to those of you who supported the bond issue last Tuesday!! The bond issue passed and our district will receive $31.6 million from the state to renovate and rebuild our district's schools. We had a float in Monday's Halloween parade and waited anxiously Tuesday evening for the results. On Wednesday, a kindergarten student, Bret, came to school with a simple but very clear message: Thank You, Voters!
